The answer is simple...Heatless Air Dryers - they help lower the dew point of the compressed air.
The process starts with coalescing filters (5 micron and 0.01 micron) that remove bulk water and liquid oil from compressed air.
This pre-treated air then slowly goes into the adsorber tower (T1). Here it passes through a desiccant bed that traps moisture and gives out dry air.
After this, the dried air then flows through a 1-micron dust filter....this helps offer clean, dry compressed air for operations that are as smooth as butter.
But the desiccant can only hold a certain quantity of moisture. Therefore, it needs to be regenerated.
While T1 is drying, a portion of dry air from the second adsorber (T2) is expanded and redirected back to T1 - This purge air removes the stored moisture, preparing T1 for the next cycle.
